We’re a family-owned and operated business, built on the legacy of generational fishermen who have spent decades harvesting Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon with care and respect for the waters of Cook Inlet, Kenai, Alaska.
Each Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon is:
– Hand-caught with care — sustainably harvested by our family, for yours
– Bled, iced, and flash-frozen at peak freshness to lock in flavor, texture, and nutrients
– Cut into beautiful portions ranging from 5 oz to 1.25 lbs — perfect for the grill, oven, or smoker
📦 Local Pick-Up & Delivery
– Chelan, WA and surrounding areas
– Western WA deliveries twice a month -Every Thursday, starting 8/13/26, 2–6 PM at the Chelan Farmers Market! 🐟

Our salmon are harvested from the sockeye rich waters of Alaska. Every Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon fillet we sell is handled with care, and vetted to make sure it’s of the highest quality for you and your family to enjoy.
What is Salmon With a Story?
The Frostad Family began fishing on Salamatof Beach in 1924 but "Salmon With a Story" was born in the spring of 2020. Sharing our Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon with friends and neighbors in our local community and around the country has been a true honor. We know the hidden part of every fillet you purchase is the tale of who caught it and how it traveled to your table. Our goal is to unveil that mystery and give a glimpse into the fishing story that provided your meal.
